No food photos this week. This weekend was taken up with preparing for and participating in Tree Day.
It was a tradition that could not be broken in my family. Come December 1, we participated in The Decorating of the Christmas Tree, or what came to be known simply as, Tree Day. The tree was the focus of our decorating, other than the odd tinsel garland looped over the dining room window curtain rail. Mum would hang Christmas cards over this tinsel, and the excess cards would be pinned to the curtains themselves.
I love Christmas decorating, and Tree Day is a firm tradition in my house. We have Christmas treats and usually the first cherries of the season are enjoyed together. We play Christmas music.
